Lucy Bates has been in the Valuation Industry since 2007.
Lucy studied Bachelor of Property correspondently with Central Queensland University whilst undertaking trainee valuer role at Opteon Northern Inland NSW (formerly Tremain Prowse Property Valuers) based in Tamworth, NSW (2007-2014).

Lucy's History
2007 - 2014 - Traineeship
During traineeship Lucy assisted senior valuers in all aspects of valuation process including job preparation, market research, inspections, valuation methodology and report writing for all property types and purposes.
Lucy also had significant role undertaking land valuations on behalf of Valuer General NSW for rating and taxing purposes across New England Contract Area (Armidale Dumaresq, Glen Innes Severn, Guyra, Uralla, Walcha and Tenterfield LGAs) and Muswellbrook Contract Area (Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter LGAs). This role included extensive market analysis and valuation of land for all property types in accordance to Valuation of Land Act 1916.

Qualified in 2014 Lucy began consultancy valuations including for mortgage security purposes within the North West Region including Moree, Narrabri, Wee Waa, Gunnedah and Boggabri.
2015 - Contract Services Manager and Property Valuer
Lucy commenced with Peter Spackman Valuations based in Gunnedah, NSW as Contract Service Manager for Rating and Taxing Contract on behalf of Valuer General NSW covering the Tamworth Contract Area including Gwydir, Moree Plains, Narrabri, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains and Tamworth Regional LGAs).
In addition completed mortgage consultancy valuations in various localities across the North West including Narrabri, Gunnedah, Boggabri and Coonabarabran.
2017 - Lucy began trading as a Subcontracting, Sole Trader
Lucy began trading as sole trader in 2017 offering contract management and property valuer services to Peter Spackman Valuations and Donoghue Property Valuations and Consultancy based in Gunnedah servicing the North West Region.
2019 - February 2021
LMB Property Valuations Pty Ltd was established in 2019. To date, LMB Property Valuations Pty Ltd offers consultancy advice for various valuation purposes for all property types servicing the North West Region. LMB Property Valuations Pty Ltd also completes Land Objection Valuations on behalf of the Valuer-General NSW for the Dubbo Regional LGA.

Provided subcontracting services to Opteon Northern Inland NSW based in Tamworth NSW as Operation Manager for Valuer General NSW Rating and Taxing Contract for North West Contract Area including Walgett, Moree Plains, Gwydir, Narrabri, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains and Tamworth Regional LGAs. This role incorporated managing of staff to deliver land values for North West Contract Area.
Current
LMB Property Valuations Pty Ltd expanded from a family of three to four. We continue in building our company in the North West Slopes and Plains Region to offer valuation services for all property types and purposes.
